Anzac Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 cup plain flour, sifted
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup dessicated coconut
- ¾ cup caster sugar
- 125g butter, chopped
- 2 tablespoons golden syrup
- 1 1/2 teaspoons bicarbonate of soda
- 2 tablespoons water

- In a small bowl, mix the bicarbonate of soda and water. Add this mixture to the butter and syrup mixture and stir until frothy.
- Add the frothy mixture to the dry ingredients and stir to combine.
- Take tablespoons full of the mixture and roll into balls. Place the balls on a baking tray lined with baking paper and flatten with your fingers or a fork.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let your biscuits cool on the tray for a few minutes, then transfer them onto a wire rack to cool completely.
