Traditional Anzac Biscuits
Ingredients:
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup desiccated coconut
- 125g butter
- 2 tablespoons golden syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
- 2 tablespoons boiling water
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 160C or 140C fan-forced.

- Roll tablespoons of mixture into balls. Place on baking trays. Flatten slightly. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden. Allow to cool on trays for 5 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 150C.
- In a large bowl, mix together almond meal, coconut, coconut sugar, and baking soda. Add in the melted coconut oil and maple syrup and stir well.
- Roll tablespoons of mixture into balls. Place on baking trays. Flatten slightly. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden. Allow to cool on trays for 5 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
