Delicious Golden Anzac Biscuit

Ingredients:
- 1 cup of rolled oats
- 1 cup of flour
- 1 cup of desiccated coconut
- 3/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons of golden syrup
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 2 tablespoons of boiling water
Method:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C or 350°F.
- In a large bowl, mix together the oats, flour, coconut, and brown sugar.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter and golden syrup over low heat until the butter is completely melted.
- In a cup, mix together the baking soda and boiling water, then add it to the melted butter mixture.
- Add the butter mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Flatten the balls slightly with a fork.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let the biscuits cool on the tray for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
